Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha is a Nigeria based athlete with a difference. No athlete locally has matched her pace in the last 20 years and this she displayed at the MOC Grand prix held in Lagos with a time of 11.09 seconds, her personal best in March 2021. Her third place finish behind Blessing Okagbare and another US-based athlete, Rosemary Chukwuma is a testament to her feat at the National Sports Festival, Edo 2020.
With her time as the fastest on Nigerian soil in the last five years, the tracks will welcome a new queen in Tokyo, Japan.
