Press Release NOC/Nigeria Aquatics Federation set for level 2 Coaching September 12, 2026

The event will be held from September 15 to September 19, 2026.
The 5-day intensive initiative programme is part of the IOC’s continuous effort, through Olympic Solidarity, to support member nations in developing qualified coaches who can produce world-class athletes.

The training is aimed at upgrading the technical capacity of Nigerian coaches and aligning local coaching standards with international best practices.

Mr Finch Cedric, a certified technical expert from South Africa, will serve as the lead facilitator for the course.

While a NOC staff Mrs Olaniyan Dolapo Rofiat will coordinate the course, President of NOC Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel will declare open the programme.
